Vijay gifts ring to the newborn babies

Ilayathalapathi Vijay turned 37 on June 22,2011. Vijay perhaps is the only star who has gained so much popularity and made his space in the hearts of his fans after Rajinikanth. As part of birthday celebrations, the actor conducted various welfare activities including the inauguration of eye donation camps and free eye checkup camp.

As usual, he gifted gold rings to all babies who are born at the Egmore Children’s Hospital on his birthday, the same hospital where Vijay was born on the same day. His wife Sangeetha accompanied him during the birthday celebrations while Kollywood celebrities like director Jayam Raja and Seeman wished the actor personally on his birthday.
