Seeman’s Naam Tamilar Iyakkam thanks Jayalalitha for anti-Lanka resolution stills

The public thanksgiving meeting of Seeman’s Naam Tamilar Iyakkam held at the Theradi Veedhi in Saidapet, Chennai on 18th June 2011 to thank the Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa for passing the resolution in the Assembly calling for economic sanctions against Sri Lanka.

Also in attendance at the meeting were actor-director Manivannan, a noted supporter, actor Sathyarajand director RK Selvamani. Seeman welcomed the government’s announcement that it would take steps to improve conditions for Eelam Tamil refugees living in camps in the State.
“We welcome this move. We will visit the camps and submit our own report to the government,” said Seeman.
