Wonder Woman project rumored to have two timelines

What do we know about WB’s Wonder Woman film? Well, the solo Wonder Woman project will be directed by Patty Jenkins. The script of the same has been penned by Jason Fuchs. The title character, to be played by Gal Gadot (Fast and Furious franchise) will make her first appearance in the upcoming DC project – Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, it will be in the solo film that we will get to see the character of Steve Trevor, to be played by Chris Pine (Star Trek).

These are perhaps the only few things we know about the project! That being said, the latest rumors doing the rounds suggest that the film may explore two distinct timelines – one taking place during World War I or II, while the other set in the present-day.

A concept art shared by the WB panel at the SDCC 2015 showed Wonder Woman standing over soldiers during WWI or WWII. In fact, few believe that those scenes would be filmed in Italy.

Should the rumor turn out to be true, it will certainly interest the fans.

Wonder Woman will hit the screens on June 23, 2017.
