Ronda Rousey is the latest celebrity to have her home burglarized, but different from the rash of similar high-profile crimes, it appears the suspects in Rousey’s robbery were apprehended. The UFC fighter and actress visited Live With Kelly and Ryan and told the story of how a group of young skaters broke into her Venice, Calif., home a few months back while she was away and squatted before stealing numerous belongings, including jewelry.
She said, someone had been squatting in her house for three days, sleeping in her bed, stole her Olympic rings, stole her guns, precious jewelry, headphones, and credit cards. Rousey and her fiance, UFC fighter Travis Browne, reviewed their security cameras and saw a bunch of kids with skateboards. There is a skate park near their home, so Browne went to look for the suspects and located them. The police were notified and they were arrested.
Rousey is the most recent celebrity victim to join the growing list of high-profile home burglaries. Others who have been targeted include David Spade, Emmy Rossum, Nick Young, Kendall Jenner, Kevin Hart and Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Yasiel Puig.
