Lady Sif happens to be one of the few prominent female characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and she is about to make her mark in the Marvel Phase 3 films.
During a recent chat with the media, Jaimie Alexander, who dons the role of the Asgardian in the Thor films, revealed that her character has a major role in Thor: Ragnarok, scheduled to hit the theaters on November 3, 2017.
Some believe, that exploring Lady Sif’s backstory and her prior relationship with Thor, will undoubtedly give the Thor story-line the much-needed boost and hence, it needs to be seen whether or not Marvel top bosses are thinking on the same lines or have something else planned for Thor: Ragnarok. It is to be noted that we do not know anything about the movie, except for its release date and that Marvel is yet to zero in on any director for the project.
Some of the other Marvel films lined up before the release of Thor: Ragnarok, include Captain America: Civil War (May 2016), Doctor Strange (November 2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (May 2017) and the Spider-Man reboot with Sony (July 2017).
