Dunkirk actor Jack Lowden has just joined the upcoming Tom Hardy-starring Al Capone biopic Fonzo.
Lowden will play the role of Crawford, alongside Linda Cardellini, Matt Dillon, Kyle MacLachlan and Kathrine Narducci. Hardy toplines the feature from writer-director Josh Trank, which is set to shoot in New Orleans.
Fonzo will center on the legendary ruthless businessman and bootlegger who ruled Chicago with an iron fist. The movie focuses on Capone when, at the age of 47 and after nearly a decade of imprisonment, dementia rots his mind and his past returns as harrowing memories of his violent and brutal origins haunt him.
