Javier Gullon, a Spanish screenwriter, is known for penning Enemy, a Denis Villeneuve directed project featuring Jake Gyllenhaal. However, he grabbed the headlines for coming up with the 478 script, a revenge drama that attracted the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger to star and Darren Aronofsky to produce.

According to the latest reports, Gullon has been roped in to pen the big screen adaptation of Anthony O’Neill’s ‘The Dark Side’. The story of the novel is about a detective dispatched to investigate the murderous rampage of an android gone rogue. The film will be set on the Moon, which is used as a penal colony in the story.

Though there’s no word as to who would direct the film, Steve Zaillian and Garrett Basch have come on board to produce the project for Fox.

We will come up with more info on the project as and when it comes our way. Keep coming back to the Hollywood section of Kollytalk for more insight into Hollywood movies.
