Remember the hit TV show Xena: Warrior Princess? Well, according to the latest reports pouring in, a Xena: Warrior Princess reboot is in the works at NBC. Having said that, the reboot is still in its early stages of development, hence, nobody knows much about it at this juncture.

Though no writer has been hired to pen the reboot, the original series creators Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are involved with this new project. Lucy Lawless, who donned the role of Xena in Xena: Warrior Princess, has always been vocal about reviving the brand, and now there’s word that the men behind the reboot are thinking of roping Lawless both on and off-screen, for the same.
Reports suggest that the Xena reboot will be an amalgamation of the original Xena series and The Hunger Games!
During a recent chat with the scribes, Lucy talked about reviving the series and said she knows people who’ve crowdfunded a few projects, and hence is looking to get the reboot going by any means necessary.
