Amala Paul and controversies go hand-in-hand. Whether the actress plans it or not, more often than not, she is at the centre of some controversy or the other. The regularity with which these controversies erupt makes many wonder whether are actually planted by the actress or her well-wishers.
It may be recalled that after the hugely controversial Sindhu Samaveli in which the character played by Amala had illicit affair with her own father-in-law, Amala has consciously stayed away from such characters. It now seems that the past is revisiting her.
Amala, whose last film was Vijay’s non-starter Thalaivaa, is said to have been offered a script by a debutant director which has the character (to be) essayed by her developing sexual relationship with a person who is almost like a brother to her. It remains to be seen whether Amala, who has just a solitary film opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi in Nimirndhu Nil in Tamil, would accept this offer or not.
It is also learnt that the debutant director has told Amala Paul that she is likely to get even a national award for ‘best actress’ plus a huge sum as fee if she agrees to star in the film!
