Jeeva to put on a ‘Mugamoodi’ in Mysskin’s next film?

It is rumoured strongly in Kollywood circles that actor Jeeva has been roped in by Mysskin’s direction to play the lead role in his upcoming film titled ‘Mugamoodi’. Jeeva, who is reportedly having the best time in his career at present with a string of hits to his credit, is said to be sporting a never-seen-before look for his role in the film.

Currently busy with the shooting schedule of Shankar’s ‘Nanban’ (which also has Vijay, Srikanth & Ileana in the lead), Jeeva might start working with Mysskin once he wraps ups the shooting of ‘Nanban’. Jeeva’s K.V. Anand-directed ‘Ko’ has already been declared the highest grosser at the box-office this year even as the film continues to do well in theatres.

It is also said that Suriya was Mysskin’s first choice as hero who couldn’t commit himself to working with the latter due to ‘call-sheet’ dates. Mysskin tried to approach other heroes as well but couldn’t find producers to back them up. Finally, Mysskin though of Jiiva and signed him up as Jiiva’s stature in the industry has gone up by several notches after the rousing success of ‘Ko’.

Sources close to the burly director say that the movie would feature Jiiva as a ‘superhero’ who fights for the welfare of the society. The film would be a perfect family entertainer-cum-thriller. A leading Corporate firm based in Mumbai is likely to back the film financially with special effects to be performed by a Los Angeles-based company?

The shooting is likely to kick-start by August, it is further informed.
