Condom model Swetha Menon to marry a Mumbai journalist

Swetha Menon

She has been making more than just waves in the Malayalam and Tamil film industries with her latest Malayalam film ‘Kayam’. The film, which has been dubbed in Tamil with the title ‘Thaaram’, has created a stir for its ultra-explicit photographs of Swetha in various states of ‘exposing’ postures.

Stylish Swetha, who was last seen as one of the five heroines in the Jeevan starrer Naan Avanillai 2, burst into the advertising world with a bang by her ‘bold and beautiful’ postures for a popular condom advertisement. She has also had a brush with Bollywood movies like Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Asoka’, Madhur Bandarkar’s ‘Corporate’ and also in ‘Maqbool’. It might be hard to believe, that the sexy Menon has also won an award for ‘acting’ from the State government for her role in ‘Paleri Manikyam’.

Exactly a few days after she said that she wasn’t falling in love, here comes a report that the slim and svelte Swetha is tying the nuptial knot. Reports say that the stunner, who is a former runner-up at the ‘Miss India’ beauty pageant a few years back, is all set to marry a Mumbai-based (lucky) journalist named Srivalsan Menon.

The traditional Malayalee-type wedding is slated to take place in Swetha’s ancestral home in Mallapuram in Kerala. The marriage would be a close-knit family affair with only close relatives of Swetha’s family and friends scheduled to attend it, it is said. A grand reception, however, would follow in Kochi some days later for Swetha’s friends and other artistes in the film industry to attend bless the couple.

Let’s wish Swetha a happy married life in advance!
