Actress Bindu Madhavi is considered by many as one of the most promising young actresses in Kollywood. She was even compared to possess the same ‘dreamy and sexy eyes’ as the late ‘item girl’ Silk Smitha when the audio-launch of her Kazhugu was held in Chennai a few months back.
She now plays the lead role in the remake of Sattam Oru Iruttarai (SOI), producer-director S.A. Chandirasekaran’s superhit film of the eighties.
SAC produces the remake version with the same title and introduces Sneha Britto as the director. The film’s shoot was to be held in Bangalore for a few days for which the entire crew and technicians had been to Bangalore early this week. Bindu, who is based in Bangalore, upset and greatly disappointed the crew by not turning up for the shoot.
Queries with her family members revealed that Bindu had suffered a ‘minor injury’ on the leg which had prevented her from moving out and attending the shooting schedule. As a result of Bindu’s absence, the crew had no other option but to cancel the entire shooting schedule.
However, the crew is also disturbed by another report which claimed that Bindu was perfectly normal and was involved in the discussion with some producers and directors about 3 of her upcoming films. What happened actually would be known in the days to come.
