Actor RK has said that he was in no way involved in the complaint lodged by some youths with the police wherein they had alleged that they hadn’t been paid their salaries for the work performed. RK is presently busy with the impending theatrical release of his upcoming film ‘Puli Vesham’ directed by P.Vasu. The film, which has been produced by RK himself, has Sadha playing the lead role after a long time.
RK, who did sundry roles in many films, debuted as hero in ‘Ellam Avan Seyal’ and then starred in ‘Azhagarmalai’. However, ‘Puli Vesham’ is a major film for him as it has been directed by a frontline director in P. Vasu. Despite his hectic schedule, RK has come out with his explanation in the issue.
The complaint by some youths, submitted to the city police commissioner, say that they had worked in a firm called ‘International Business Development Corporation’ headed by RK and controlled by a person named Vijayakumar. They had stated that though they worked for a few months with the Firm, their salaries haven’t been paid as on date.
An inquiry has been ordered based on the complaint. Reacting to the allegations, RK said that “It was a baseless complaint. I’m in no way concerned with it. Vijayakumar appears to be the person who has recruited them and as such, he has to take the blame. I’m in no way connected with the issue and I don’t know why my name is unnecessarily dragged in the issue!
“I am open to be queried by the police at any time in this regard,” concludes RK.
