Vijay’s Kaavalan doesn’t stop to bump into controversies.
Earlier it was the fight for distribution rights which was solved amicably between J K Saravanan and Ramesh Babu resulting in the ban imposed by the court being lifted .
Then it was the Theatre Owners’ Association who came out with the bad news stating that if Vijay does not make up for the losses incurred earlier ,his Kaavalan will not be showcased in theaters.
Now a case has been filed by Gokulam Chit Funds claiming the remake rights of the movie have been handed over to them by the original producer of Bodyguard(Kaavalan is a remake of the Malayalam flick Bodyguard). The case has been put on hold and the court has affirmed that there will be no hindrances currently. The case hearing will be happening on Friday.
Let’s hope the movie runs successfully keeping our fingers crossed.
