Weekend update for June 24th 2011

Here is a round up on the movies releasing this weekend just to ensure that you don’t forget to catch up on your favorite movie. The popular choice among the lot is Siddharth’s upcoming release 180 (Nootrenbadhu , change expecting tax exemption).The movie has beautiful faces Nithya Menen and Priya Anand pulling in crowds with their performances. The movie releases on 25 June 2011.

Then there is the romantic comedy Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu starring Githan Ramesh and Sanchita Padukone in lead roles, releasing today June 24th.Other notable names in the flick include Suhasini and star actor Prakash Raj. The movie marks the debut of director Thirumalai Kishore.

Karunanidhi’s grandson Arulnidhi’s action film Udhayan is also amongst the releases this Friday.It includes a notable musical score by saxophone player Kadri Gopalnath’s son Manikanth Kadri. Directed by debutant Chaplin it also has Arulnidhi playing double role.

Just in case you want to catch on to something Hollywood, Cars 2 will be releasing today, that too in 3D.Enjoy your weekend.
