Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya to be made in Hindi

Gautham Menon’s ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya’ will now be remade in Hindi.

‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya’ was already made in Telugu as Ye Maya Chesave apart from Tamil version and now is getting ready for the Hindi version. Director Gautham Menon will direct the Hindi version besides co-producing it. As of now, a press release from IN Entertainment (INE), part of Hinduja Group, the acquirers of the Hindi remake rights, announced that A R Rahman will be part of the project. Other technicians or cast for the new project have not been finalized yet.

Gautham is currently busy in developing the screenplay for the Hindi version. A couple of years back, ‘Minnale’ was remade in Hindi, then his ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ was noticed and was remade in Telugu with Venkatesh and will be remade in Hindi with John Abraham and Asin shortly, but Gautham won’t be directing the Hindi Version of Kaakha Kaakha.

Now it’s the turn of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya! Let us expect a romantic treat. He’ll probably fine tune it and create a better impression than his previous remake outings. All the best Gautham!
