After making hit films like Piriyamudan, Iraniyan and Jithan which have had very different scripts, director Vincent Selva is back after a long hiatus with a film titled Thulli Vilaiyaadu (TV). Produced by Govindaraj’s RB Stutios, the film stars newcomer Yuvraj as the hero who is paired opposite Deepti of Engeyum Eppodhum fame. Others in the cast are Prakashraj, Jayaprakash, Suri, Singamuthu, Senrayan, Madurai Sujatha, Lakshman and Madan Bob.
Yuvraj plays a businessman, Suri a politician while Senrayan an actor in the film. The movie is about the live of the trio and how they managed to reach their respective places in society. The romantic sequences between Yuvraj and Deepthi have come off very well, informs Selva. Prakashraj and Jayaparkash have powerful roles and have, as usual, given their best shot.
Prakashraj’s characterization is very different and it’s almost a role which he has never played in his two-decade long career. Selva adds that even the costumes donned by Prakashraj in the film would be very amusing. Jayaprakash plays a politician who cares for the people and urges them to make a living on their own instead of depending on others.
Boopathy is the cinematographer while Srikanth Deva has scored the film’s music to lyrics by Naa Muthukumar and Kabilan. Vijayan is the editor while Sasidharan has penned the dialogues and screenplay. Bobby and ‘Super’ Subbarayan and the dance and stunt choreographers respectively. Selva has penned the story and is directing the film.
