Ajith, whose right leg is craving for attention in the form of a surgery which has been pending for the past few months, is said to have postponed the surgery by a few months as he is all set to leave soon for a much-deserved month-long vacation along with his family.
Sources close to Ajith say that Ajith and his family would be leaving Chennai for an undisclosed location abroad on 10th December where they would be staying for close to a month on vacation. Ajith, who has often said that an artiste’s personal life is as important as his professional life, would then come back to Chennai to start shooting for his next film to be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
As reported some time back, Ajith suffered a serious injury on his right leg during the filming of an action sequence involving him and Arya in Arrambam which released on Deepavali and became a huge box-office success. Despite director Vishnuvardhan’s suggestion to use a ‘body double’ in the said sequence, Ajith went ahead and performed the risky stunt sequence on his own.
Doctors diagnosed a minor crack in his bone and advised surgery. Ajith decided to postpone the surgery by a few months till he completed the shooting schedule of his upcoming Pongal release Veeram. Now that the shoot of Veeram has been wrapped up, it was expected that Ajith might get the surgery done but it now seems Ajith wants to complete Gautham Menon’s film too before going under the knife.
