Udhayanidhi’s OKOK touches 175 days

Things are really swinging Udhayanidhi Stalin’s way as his debut movie Oru Kal Oru Kannadi has completed 175 days at the box office. News is that the film is still going strong thanks to the comedy quotient.

Oru Kal Oru Kannadi was produced  under Udhayanidhi  home banner Red Giant Movies, directed by M Rajesh featuring Hansika Motwani and Santhanam. Apparently it was completed with a budget of 13 crore rupees and as of now statistics mention a profit of 32 crores already. It is believed that the movie received a great response from the family audiences because of a commercially appealing sweet love-story and some complimenting songs by Harris Jayaraj. Trade pundits say this is the main reason that has helped the movie achieve a steady stay at the box office. Rameshan the owner of a famous theater here in Chennai told us, the movie is a favorite amongst the college going kids; they come here in the evenings with friends to have a good time, which is when we have the most rush.Elated with the response Udhayanidhi   has announced, “Will be starting my next film in January! Will let you know the cast and crew soon. Flying to Macau this weekend.” With a blockbuster under his belt Stalin has definitely made a superb start, our best wishes to him for his future endeavors.
