Crew members of ‘Jayam’ Ravi’s latest film Thani Oruvan, which has been appreciated by critics and movie goers and which has been going great guns in theatres, celebrated the film’s success in a novel manner by distributing free lunch to over 1,500 people.
Starring ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Aravind Swamy and Nayantara in lead roles and directed by Ravi’s brother ‘Jayam’ Raja, the film has been already declared as a super-duper hit by trade pundits and marks Ravi’s second success story of the year after Romeo Juliet. AGS Entertainment had produced the film.
In order to infuse some sort of novelty into the celebrations, the crew arranged for lunch for 1,500 people hailing from the economically downtrodden section of the society in Chennai. The event was held at T. Nagar over the weekend.
‘Kalpathi’ brothers, the producers of the film, Ravi and Raja’s father ‘Editor’ Mohan, music director Hip-Hop Tamikzha, Ganesh Venkatram, Sricharan and cinematographer Ramji were among the cast members and technicians who attended the event. Going out of the way, they served the food to the people by their own hands, striking an emotional chord with the people who were served lunch!
