Suman, who stole many a hearts with his subtle yet effective performance as the decent villain ‘Aadhi’ in superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster Sivaji: The Boss a few years back, has expressed his wish to star with the ‘man of the masses’ yet again in the latter’s upcoming film Kabali.
Suman revealed his wish while taking part in a function held at a Salem school yesterday. “It was a truly unforgettable experience for me to have essayed the role of ‘Aadhi’ in Rajini’s Sivaji. The film gave me such a name and fame. Only after starring in Sivaji that I got busy as an actor and I even got offers to star in Hindi films after that.
“Rajini Sir is responsible for everything; I hear that he is now gearing up to star in his next film Kabali. Obviously, I want to be part of the film’s cast. If Rajini gives me an opportunity, I shall give my dates immediately to star in the film. Irrespective of the nature of the role, I just want to be part of a Rajini-starrer,” said Suman, who starred with Rajini in his super-duper hit film Thee which released in the late seventies.
“Personally, as a huge fan of Rajini Sir, I want him to continue to star in many films in future without gap; this is the wish of me and millions of his fans,” Suman concluded.
