Rajinikanth’s Kaala has got UA certificate from Central Board of Film Certification. The CBFC officials are said to have given fourteen cuts to the film. Though the censor certificate has been issued, there is a report that officials have watched the film in the office of Wunderbar Films because all the preview theaters in Chennai say that they haven’t screened the film for censors.
But a spokesperson of the censor board told DT Next that the screening happened only in preview theaters and no special treatment was given for Kaala just because it’s a Rajinikanth film.
Directed by Ranjith, Kaala will release on April 27.
