Actress Shriya Saran is to travel all the way to Tokyo to take part in the premiere of the film Sivaji (3-D version of the super-duper hit film Sivaji: The Boss). Readers might recall that the curvaceous Shriya Saran paired up opposite superstar Rajinikanth in the 2007 super-hit film Sivaji: The Boss) which re-wrote many box-office records in the country as well as abroad.
The film has now been converted into 3-dimensional mode by AVM Productions, the original producers of the film, and is to be released on a grand scale all over the world. It is also planned to promote the film’s release befitting a new film. As part of the plans to promote it, a premiere show of the film is likely to be held in the Japanese capital of Tokyo at the film festival to be held thee.
Readers might be aware that Japan has a huge number of fans who love Rajini whose films have successively done very well in Japan starting from Muthu which was dubbed into Japanese and released in the mid-nineties as Dancing Maharaja. Rajini acknowledged his mass fan-following in Japan by casting a couple of actors from that country in his Baba.
Shriya has just completed the shoot of her Hollywood project Midnight’s Children which has been directed by Deepa Mehta based on a book of the same title. The film was recently premiered in Toronto where Shriya took part. She would soon be proceeding to Japan to take part in the premiere of Sivaji which is to be premiered in Japan soon.
