Actress Shraddha Srinath, who has started going places in Kollywood with successive hit films in the form of Ivan Thanthiran opposie Gautham Karthik and Vikram Vedha opposite Madhavan, is gearing up for the upcoming release of her Richie opposite Mollywood’s Nivin Pauly, which is releasing in theatres tomorrow (08th December).
To be Premam fame Nivin Pauly’s debut film in Tamil, Richie has already a good pre-release talk going about it. Shraddha and Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli play Nivin Pauly’s heroines in the film with a good star-cast. Gautham Ramachandran has directed the film which is looked upto with optimism by the crew and the audiences.
Shraddha, the 27-year old Bangalorean beauty who has a flooring smile to match her acting/dancing instincts, got talking about Richie on the eve of the film’s release. “I’m quite happy with my tenure so far in Kollywood and hope it continues for a few more years. I agreed to do Richie mainly because of Gautham’s script. I like his way of narrating the script and his approach to the art of film-making,” Shraddha says.
“Nivin Pauly is the most humble actor I have met so far in my career. He is a very cool actor who is also a good friend of mine. I play Megha, a journalist in the film; it’s a strong character of a woman who is keen to wage struggle in her life to attain social justice. I eagerly look forward to the film’s release,” concludes Shraddha.
