Shankar, the renowned director has finally received the honor which was well befitting him rather than anyone else. CNN-IBN has bestowed the man of the moment with the Indian of the Year in Entertainment Award – an honor that embodies greatness.

Shankar bags the top spot for his film ‘Endhiran’ that earned a whopping Rs 250 crore at the box office.

Shankar will be in the capital city New Delhi to receive the award on December 22nd 2010.

His collaboration with Rajinikanth for the blockbuster runaway hit Enthiran is still packing up huge crowds in theatres and is showing no signs of fading away  in the near time. The producers are equally delighted for this record breaking venture as they are filling up their already heavy pockets with the revenues .

Well done Shankar,   you have made us proud and we offer our best wishes for your bright future.

Congrats Shankar…Really you deserve this award…May many awards coming on your way…

Your effort in Endhiran must be appreciable…Thanks for the great film…

  2. Mannan

Indian of the yearukkm Sankarukkum enna samamdham??? What did he do to improve the prevailing state of matters??? He made a picture and made money, that’s it… It’s business and doesn’t have anything to do with being the top Indian of this year…. Give him best director or whatever based on the panel’s review… but Indian of this year is too much for this guy…

Crappy cine industry people don’t do anything useful… but get fame by buying awards like this… cheapos…

I agree to Mannan. These idiots are cheating the public with these fake awards. What has Indian of the year have to do with Sankar? Had he invested Rs132 crore in any project and employed 10000s of people? Had he helped and taken care of any villages like the Kandasamy crew? Had he done something that is actually important for a common man’s daily life?

Then why was he selected for this award??? There are so many other people who help feloow being. They all should be bestowed the Indian of the year. Not this guy.
