Director-actor Seeman does allot time for himself to fulfill his acting responsibilities too. Besides his hectic schedule in taking his political outfit Naam Thamizhar Katchi forward, Seeman also indulges in acting, which his one of his passionate activities, from time to time. He would be seen in a tough cop’s role in an upcoming film titled Kandupidi Kandupidi (KK).
Produced by Movie Bazaar, the film also marks the directorial debut of Rama Subbarayan, who has worked as assistant director under the likes of Agathiyan, Balasekaran and Prabhu Solomon. Tarun Chatriya (villain in Simbu’s Kaalai) plays the male lead opposite Aishwarya Devan, a debutant heroine from our neigbouring Kerala. Others in the cast include Devan and Jaganji.
Commenting about KK, Subbarayan says “The film has been made as a suspense thriller and would make the viewers sit on the edge of their seats. The whole script takes place at a marriage hall where the story commences at 0800 hrs and ends at around 1400 hrs. The sequences happening in those six hours have been captured brilliantly and in an interesting manner.
“Viewers would themselves feel that the marriage (in the film) should be held sans any trouble. Debutant Aishwarya has done a wonderful job. Seeman plays a copy named Pugazhmaran. He has literally lived his character and has displayed tremendous acting prowess,” concludes the director.
