Samantha’s worst nightmare has revisited her as the actress, has been diagnosed to be suffering from the same skin disorder which affected her late last year.

Last year, Samantha developed red dots on her face and all over the body due to which she couldn’t commit herself to starring in any film. It was later reported that the problem robbed her of the opportunity to star in Shankar’s I and Mani Ratnam’s Kadal. After getting the desired treatment, she was back in action by the beginning of this year.

Some time back, Samantha announced that she would only be taking up offers which were entirely convincing. Thanks to her good work, she has earned huge number of fans in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. She has been paired opposite Suriya in his upcoming untitled film directed by Lingusamy for which she shot for more than 10 days when all of a sudden she started getting those unwanted dots again.

Now that she has developed the old problem again, she had to rush back to Chennai to get treated urgently. Along with Samantha, the entire crew has returned to Chennai. Doctors who checked Samantha said that the arc-lights inside the studios weren’t doing any good to her skin. The treatment has just commenced and it appears that the actress might be out of action at least for the next 3-4 weeks.

Meanwhile, Lingusamy is gearing up to shoot sequences not involving Samantha from today onwards.
