Samantha Ruth Prabhu is pushing for her best. She had to drop out potential offers from two top Kollywood directors owing to her health conditions. Bouncing back she did thank her friends in the industry and shot a lengthy schedule for Nandini Reddy’s untitled Telugu project with Siddharth.
Soon after she headed for the last schedule of Gautham Menon’s Neethane En Ponvasantham and later attended the grand audio launch event held at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai on September 1st. Samantha looked a million bucks in a jet magenta sari with a black designer blouse, as she was greeted with a round of applause by fans and guests seated at the audio launch event. Speaking about her setback she said, “There has been a lot of talk regarding my health condition. It was low immunity that caused the problem and I had to take rest .I don’t feel there is a need to discuss my personal life. Due to the illness I had lost Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kadal’ and Shankar’s ‘I’.” She is committed to work even harder to make up for the losses. Says Samantha “I know Tamil very well and I will be dubbing my own voice for Gautham sir’s Neethane En Ponvasantham. From October onwards, every month I will have one movie releasing at the halls consecutively.” Apart from NEP releasing in Tamil and Telugu, she has Autonagar Surya, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Yevadu coming up in Tollywood. Her Eega, (Naan Ee in Tamil) sailed across the 50 day mark recently to make things even better.Check out her latest pic from the NEP audio launch event.
