Superstar Rajinikanth, an ardent devotee of Sri Raghavendra Swamigal, paid a visit to the Raghavendra Temple in Chennai and took a close look at the golden chariot which has just been prepared.
Rajini is now gearing up for the audio-launch of his upcoming film Kochadaiiyaan which would be held on 25th of this month. The film was to hit the screen a few days ahead of Pongal on 10thJanuary but Rajini’s magnanimity in ensuring that other heroes’ films should also do well has resulted in yet another delay in the film’s release in theatres.
Rajini used to visit the temple frequently in the past but he chose to stay away as he became aware that people weren’t concentrating on worshipping the Almighty but thronged the temple to look at him whenever he visited. After a long time, he visited the Raghavendra Temple around 0500 a.m. a couple of days back. He was welcomed by the temple staff at the entrance and was immediately led inside.
After worshipping the Lord, Rajini went around the temple for some time. He also took a close look at the brand new golden chariot which has recently been procured by the temple management. After spending close to 30 minutes and apparently praying for the success ofKochadaiiyaan, Rajini left the premises before dawn.
