Divya, television actress-turned-film actress who has been paired up opposite Sarathkumar in Adangathay which has G.V. Prakash Kumar and Surabhi in the lead, has said that she won’t be acting in films after marrying producer-turned-actor R.K. Suresh in the near future.
A known producer, Suresh turned actor with Bala’s Tharai Thapattai which released early last year and later locked horns with Vishal as the antagonist in Marudhu. After starring in films such as Dharma Durai and Hara Hara Mahadevaki, Suresh now plays the hero and antagonist in three films each, thus becoming one of the busiest actor in Kollywood. He also continues to produce films.
He has been engaged to marry Divya (actress from the soap Sumangali), a popular television actress, who has been paired up opposite Sarathkumar in Adangathay. Ironically enough, Divya’s very first outing might also turn out to be her last outing as well in films as she has decided not to star in films after marrying Suresh.
“Ours is an arranged marriage; we didn’t fall in love but have been engaged to marry each other after our parents decided so,” says Divya, something which Suresh also took pains to insist.
