Priya Anand loves playing with Slum Kids

Actess Priya Anand, who debuted as Jai’s heroine in ‘Vaamanan’, is looking forward to her second release in Tamil with the bilingual ‘180’. The film marks the comeback of actor Siddharth in Tamil films. Nithya Menon is the other heroine in the film. Siddharth returns to Kollywood after more than five years, his last film in Tamil being Maniratnam’s ‘Aidha Ezhuthu’.

Pretty Priya has an odd way of passing her time whenever she is in Chennai. She takes her car and drives off to the ECR Road on the outskirts and strolls down to the beach. On her way to beach, a huge slum is found where she has befriended many children in the nearby locality.

I have many good friends in the form of those children. They talk ever so casually with me. I talk to them, play with them and have a jolly good time in their company. I have even taken photographs with many of them. I unwind myself while talking to and playing with them,” says Priya who is excited at the praise the trailer of her upcoming film ‘180’ has generated.

“It feels very nice to listen to so many good and positive comments about the film. When I had been to a city cinema hall to watch ‘Ko’, I happened to catch the songs of ‘180’ when its trailer was screened. It was a really thrilling experience for me to be watching the trailer of my own film while sitting amid the audience,” says Priya with a smile than can ‘actually’ kill!
