What could be better than having a nation talk about our film?Pasanga tamil movie directed by debundant Pandiraj will be screened in “India in China 2010” programme in Indian embassy in China. The Indian embassy in China is organising an Indian film week to screen selected Indian films on June 24 which will begin in Beijing.

There are 10 Indian films that have been selected for special screening at this function and Pasanga is one among those films.Released in 2009, Pasanga starring numerous child artists in the lead roles along with Vimal and Vega in prominent roles has received positive reviews and and has bagged several awards including Gold Elephant award for Best Director and Best Film award from Puduchery government.

Other Indian movies which have been selected for the special screening are Taare Zameen Par (Hindi), Antaheen (Bengali), Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (Hindi), Ek Cup Chai (Marathi), Keshu (Malayalam), The White Elephant, Shob Charitro Kalponik (Bengali), Gabhricha Paus (Marathi) and Harishchandrachi Factory (Marathi).

The ‘India in China 2010’ follows the ‘China in India 2010’ event that is being celebrated in India to mark the 60 years celebrations of Indo China relations.
