Kajal Aggarwal, one of the top actresses in both Tamil and Telugu films, has been accused by the producer of her upcoming untitled Telugu film of causing him losses to the tune of Rs.2 crores by not turning up at previous agreed dates as per call-sheet scheduled drawn up for the film.
Kajal has been working non-stop as a bee for some ‘big’ projects lined up both in Telugu and Tamil besides a Bollywood project with ‘macho’ Akshay Kumar. While she has films opposite top stars Mahesh Bahu, Junior NTR, Allu Arjun, Naga Chaitanya and Ram Charan Teja in Telugu, she has Thuppakki opposite Vijay and Maatraan opposite Suriya gearing up for release in the next few weeks to come.
Following the success of her The Businessman opposite Mahesh Babu, she was signed up to play his lead replacing Tammanah again in Mahesh babu untitled next film being directed by Sukumar. A single song featuring the lead pair was reportedly shot in a specially erected studio at a whopping cost of Rs.2 crores. The film’s shoot hasn’t proceeded beyond the song sequence due to Kajal’s non-cooperative attitude, the producer 14 Reels Entertainment has said.
Kajal’s commitments in Tamil and Hindi films has made her skip the shooting schedule of the Mahesh Babu-starrer, the producer says and is said to be considering seriously about replacing the curvaceous Kajal Aggarwal with another frontline actress in Tollywood.
It is to be noted Tammanah who was originally signed for this project had to walk out of the project after the producer’s council asked her not to sign any film until all her existing film commitments are completed.
Will Kajal Agarwal be also asked to do the same…
