We reported last week that popular villain actor Mansoor Ali Khan was arrested by the Chennai Police and sent to Puzhal Central Prison in a land-grabbing case. Even before the trial of the case is over, the burly actor finds himself in another case of similar nature.
It seems that Mansoor has extended his ‘villainic’ ways to real life from reel-life. The actor is in jail after the police arrested him for having ‘grabbed illegally’ lands valued at Re.1 crore from a real estate entrepreneur Duraivelu. Now, another complaint has also been filed against Mansoor by Gunasekaran of Saligramam, Chennai.
In his complaint submitted to the city police commissioner J.K. Tripathy in person, Gunasekaran has said that he owned a vast space of land on the 100-feet road near Vadapalani in the city. He has further stated that Mansoor had ‘forcibly’ taken over the land from and has constructed his house there. The land is valued at Rs.50 lakhs. The complaint by Gunasekaran further said that when he asked Mansoor to vacate the place, he was threatened with ‘dire consequences’.
The police are said to be enquiring into the case. The case has since been referred to the Central Crime Branch of the city police who are planning to take Mansoor into custody and investigate him about the latest complaint received against him. Police sources said that it’s likely that Mansoor would again be ‘arrested’ in the fresh case.
It may be noted that Mansoor had also faced complaints of sexual harassment in the past.
