Mysskin, who has had back-to-back successes as director in ‘Chittiram Paesudhadi’ and ‘Anjathey’ in the last three years, is all set to enter Bollywood, the world of Hindi films.
The director, who is presently making ‘Yuttham Sei’ starring director-actor Cheran in the lead, might start his first Hindi film soon after finishing Cheran’s film.
Mysskin’s first project in Hindi would be the remake of his Tamil hit film ‘Anjathey’, it is said. Mysskin has reportedly got a huge amount as advance from a reputed Bollywood studio to remake his hit film ‘Anjathey’ in Hindi.
If he goes to Bollywood, what would happen to the 7-odd Tamil films for which Mysskin has taken advance in Kollywood? At the time of getting the advance amount from his producers, Mysskin had reportedly told them that he would take his own time in launching these films.
As the producers had paid him after agreeing to his condition, Mysskin is not facing any problem whatsoever from any of his producers. They are said to be bracing themselves for a long, winding session. The preparatory work in connection with the remake of ‘Anjathey’ in Hindi has begun in right earnest.
The name of the Bollywood hero to feature in the role played by Naren in Tamil has not been revealed.
