Mankatha shooting not dropped says Venkat Prabhu

We had reported  that the shooting for Mankatha had come to a halt after rains had disturbed the shoots earlier this mont . But  some magazines had gone saying there was lack of financial resources and the shoot had to cancelled,  today Venkat Prabhu has slashed all rumors spreading across .Indeed the director was not at all pleased with the news and instead has come up with some good news.

He has now revealed that the next shooting spot is decided to be in Mumbai and reportedly it’s in the slums of Dharavi (The same place where Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire had some of its shots done) which will be the backdrop for the sets being built in Chennai.

Ajith’s Mankatha featuring Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Vaibhav and Premji Amaren with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is awaited by ardent fans.
