Prabhu Solomon’s Kumki is in its final stages. The music album and trailer for the film have already generated a huge hype,with Prabhu Solomon and composer D Imman joining hands post their blockbuster release Mynaa.
Produced by Lingusamy’s Thirrupathi Brothers,the makers are not rushing with the post-production work and are aiming for a quality final product. Though a rural subject it will have a lot of CG effects and graphics to ensure a more pleasing look of the villages.Director Prabhu Solomon and his technical team were seen working at the studio, discussing on the key shots and song sequences.Kumki which narrates the life of a mahout and his elephant has been bagged by Studio Green banner for distribution.The reputed Kollywood banner is already high on their Attakathi success and with Imman’s music album being much talked about, they are sure the buzz will work in their favour.Kumki has Vikram Prabhu, son of veteran actor Prabhu and grandson of late thespian Sivaji Ganesan in lead role.Playing female lead is Lakshmi Menon . Cinematography for this release is by Sukumar who accompanied his director into the deep forests of Karnataka and Kerala .An important sequence was also shot at the Jog falls in Karnataka.With the enhanced graphics Kumki will be a definitive treat for the audience, who await the official release date soon.
