Keeripulla to set new trend with releasing Stunt Sequence instead of an Audio launch

Keeripulla Movie PosterDeviating from the time-tested tradition of releasing a Audio release or a single-track release prior to the film’s theatrical release, the cast and crew of the upcoming film titled Keeripulla are planning to release a ‘stunt sequence’ from the film to let the movie-goers know that the film is ready for its theatrical release.

Firose Khan, who debuted as director with  Paasakkara Nanbargal which also saw his son Yuvan debuting as a teenaged hero, is the director of Keeripulla. Firose Khan has also penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film, which is produced by Angel Films International the producers of Thambi Arjuna and Paasakkara Nanbargal.

Firose has again repeated Yuvan as the hero in Keeripulla opposite the pretty-looking Disha Pandey (Tamizhpadam fame). Saravanan (Chithappu in Paruthiveeran) plays the villain in the film which also has the national award winner Thambi Ramaiah, Ponnambalam, Nellai Siva, Raja James, ‘Gym’ Krishna, Yogi Babu, Elizabeth and Ammu playing significant roles.

‘Ganja’ Karuppu is also part of the cast in the film, which is the 50th film in his career. Mohanaraman is the cinematographer while Jefrey is the music director of the film which has lyrics by Dugai Rucina and ‘Thendral’ Senthil. Khan says that the film is about the enemity which prevails between a keeri (Yuvan) and a paambu (Saravanan). Yuvan, who gave a very good account of himself in the successful Saattai, has put in a wonderful performance again, he says.

“For the first time in the history of films, we are planning to release a ‘stunt sequence’ in the film to mark its readiness to hit the screens. We are also planning to host a ‘live stunt show’ on the scheduled date, which is yet to be finalized. All the stunts in the film have been filmed without making use of ‘body doubles’. We’re sure that the film would find a receptive audience,” says Khan.
