Karthi in awe of Suriya’s performance in 7aam Arivu

Karthi awestruck on Suriya performance

Even as last-minute post-production work is going on in full swing for actor Suriya’s upcoming film 7aam Arivu in order to release the film on the eve of Deepavali as planned earlier, the actor’s younger brother and actor Karthi is said to have been in ‘awe’ of his elder sibling’s mind-boggling performance in the film.

The film’s audio was released some time back in Chennai at a glittering event. Produced by Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant Movies and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the man who gave Suriya one of his super-duper hits in Ghajini, the film stars Suriya in the triple roles of a Buddhist Monk, a scientist and a Circus artiste. Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruti Haasan debuts as heroine in Kollywood with this film opposite Suriya.

Suriya’s role of the Monk and the way he has depicted the character of Bodhi Dharman, the Pallava prince who lived in Kancheepuram more than 1,500 years back and went on to become a popular and revered Monk in China, is already making waves. Suriya’s six-pack abs in the Monk’s role is already making women drooling over his appearance.

Suriya had said that he loved the script, an action-packed one, very much when Murugadoss narrated to him the first time. He has also said that the film’s historical background and the way stunt sequences have been choreographed would be a visual treat to his fans. Karthi, a competent actor in his own right, is said to have been stunned by the ‘different’ ways Suriya has portrayed all the three roles.

Suriya’s six-pack abs look, his mastering the martial art forms for his role in the film and to top it all, his act of juggling five balls at a time in both his hands have made Karthi speechless, sources close to him say.
