Kaavalan in Shanghai International Film Festival

Director Siddique’ s Kaavalan breathed in fresh air for Ilayathalapathy Vijay fans worldwide as it has become another milestone movie for the actor. To add another feather to Vijay’s hat, ‘Kaavalan’ has been selected to be screened in Shanghai during the 14th International Film Festival which will be held in the city from June 11th to June 19th.

The Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), founded in 1993, is China’s only A-category international film festival accredited by the FIAPF.

‘Kaavalan’ has been selected to be screened in the ‘Panorama’ category from nearly 2500 odd films from various countries in the world. More than 80 countries around the globe will be culminating for this event with more than 200 selected international films of high quality being screened during the event.

SIFF has also issued an invitation to Vijay as guest of honor for taking part in this event.
