K V Anand leaves for China to Shoot Simbu starring KO

After the highly successful ‘Ayan’ last year which starred Suriya and Tamannaah in the lead and catapulted the latter to stardom, cinematographer-cum-director K.V. Anand has launched his next project starring Simbu in the lead. The film, which would pair debutant Karthika (daughter of yesteryear Kollywood queen Radha) opposite Simbu, has been titled ‘Ko’.

Anand visites China to have a ‘look’ at the probable locations where he might shoot his upcoming film. As of now, he is said to be planning to shoot only the song sequences in the Communist country. Sources close to him say that the hunt for another heroine, who would have a meaty role to play in the film, is on.

The crew members, Anand, Simbu and Karthika would be leaving for China in the first week of February to shoot the song sequences featuring the lead pair. Music is presently composed.

Like his previous film ‘Ayan’, Anand is planning another action-cum-romantic entertainer, it is reliably learnt.
