Actor ‘Jayam’ Ravi, who hasn’t had a single release after his much-acclaimed performance in last year’s widely-appreciated ‘Peraanmai’ directed by national award-wining director Jananathan, Ravi is almost like actor Vijay (not in delivering a string of failures) when it comes to changing his looks for films.
Except for ‘Peraanmai’ where he sported a trim figure of a forester, apparently at the behest of Jananathan, he usually sticks to his own style of ‘not straining much to change his looks’. This, in a way, enables him to star in two films at the same time. He has just completed the first schedule of ‘Aadhibagavan’, directed by the mercurial Ameer.
Ravi is also awaiting the release of his home production ‘Thillalangadi’ opposite Tamannaah, but has now embarked on a long shooting schedule of ‘Itch’, which is directed by Prabhudeva and pits him opposite teenage sensation Hansika Motwani of Bollywood. After wrapping up the first schedule of Ameer’s film in Malaysia, he would now be shooting in France for Prabhudeva’s ‘Itch’.
