Music director-turned-actor G.V. Prakash Kumar, who won accolades for his portrayal of a ‘local guy’ in Bala’s latest directorial venture Naachiyaar, is gearing up for the release of many of his films including the Rajiv Menon-directed Sarvam Thaala Mayam.
Cinemagrapher-turned-director Rajiv, who debuted as director with the Prabhu Deva-Kajol-Arvind Swamy starrer Minsara Kanavu in 1997, made Ajith-Mammootty-Tabu-Aishwarya starrer Kandukondain Kandukondain in 2000. After 18 long years, Rajiv makes a comeback as director with Sarvam Thaala Mayam which has G.V. Prakash Kumar romancing Aparna Balamurali (of 8 Thottakkal fame).
Nedumudi Venu, Dhivadarshini, Santha Dhananjayan, Sumesh and Athira play prominent roles in the film which has music by Oscar-award winner and G.V. Prakash Kumar’s uncle A.R. Rahman. Cinematography is taken care of by Ravi Yadav.
Produced by Mindscreen Cinemas, the film is to release soon in theatres as the shoot has been wrapped up and the crew has gone into the post-production stage.
