It’s a love-ly Friday with the Valentine’s hangover still kicked in. Lovers and cine fans heading to the halls do have a handful to choose from. The list of film releasing this Friday include Amala Paul’s double releases in Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal (MUK) with Atharava and another one opposite Siddharth in Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, notably Gautham Menon’s Ek Deewana Tha, and a lot more.

MUK directed by Elred Kumar, promises to be a visual treat shot in Las Vegas, New York and other hot locations in USA. The movie has been heavily promoted by the RS Infotainment team and will be releasing in 252 prints across Tamilnadu, a solid figure compared to Vijay’s Nanban that made it to 268 screens in the state. The advance bookings opening Wednesday, indicate a good opening for the movie. Next in line is the light hearted KSY from debutant director Balaji. The 10 minute short film releasing on Youtube was impressive and fans will be eager to know how the young director has taken things to the big screen with Amala Paul and Siddharth playing lead. KSY is being promoted by Siddharth himself under his home banner Etaki entertainment, also making it screens in Andhra titled Love Failure. Director Gautham Menon along with composer AR Rahman is entering the Valentine’s race with his Ek Deewana Tha, catering more towards the audience up North Indian fans. The film has made headlines for the excellent chemistry shared by the lead pair of Amy Jackson and Pratiek Babbar and recently Gautham revealed that the film will have multiple endings, to be screened at different theaters. Some other interesting releases include Kollywood’s first 3D thriller Ambuli, and Arjun’s forest-full action in Kattupuli that has been certified with an A certificate.
