He plays the lead role of a television anchor in Sokkali, misguiding young girls and giving them false promises of becoming the next big Kollywood diva.
It was during the ongoing shoots at Kooduthurai near Salem team members were forced to stop the shoots. The lead pair was to film some dreamy shots at the banks of a river, which required them to hire a boat ride. As the boat rowed further into the river, a huge pine rugged body came afloat on top. First the actors were confused as to what it is, but when the deadly jaws split open, all doubts were cleared. A 15ft long crocodile was leisurely waiting for it’s free afternoon lunch. Taking quick action, the local boatman asked the actors to keep calm and throw away all the food items in different directions, so as to distract the deadly reptile. “We had to rush back halfway through”, says Swasika, who dint take the crocodile warnings, given by the locals seriously.
