Comedian Krishnamurthy, best known for his comic scennce with ace comedian Vadivelu in Thavasi, where in he asks to guide him to the ‘address’ of Osama Bin Laden. Krish has starred in many films as on date.
A non-controversial man, Krish has now filed a case with the Producers’ Council accusing film-maker S. Sridharan of not paying up his dues.
In a complaint filed with the Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TFPC), Krish has stated that though he worked as a production manager in an upcoming film titled Yaarukku Theriyum, the film’s producer S. Sridharan has been ‘dodging’ as on date without paying him up his dues for having worked in the film.
“I have worked in Yaarukku Theriyum as a production manager. Instead of paying me for rendering my services, Sridharan has been involved in various efforts to release the film in theatres. I have given complaints to TFPC and FEFSI on the issue. TFPC’s office-bearers are conducting enquiries with Sridharan in this regard. In order to divert attention from him, Sridharan has falsely accused me of ‘cheating’ him.
“Till date, I have earned a good name in the industry and haven’t cheated anyone. I feel mentally harassed due to Sridharan’s complaint,” Krish has said. His lawyer Damodara Krishnan says, “It appears to be an attempt to malign Krish’s good name in the film industry. He hasn’t cheated anybody and is only expecting the money due to him for working in Yaarukku Theriyum,” he concludes.
