Arya joins Mani Ratnams Ponniyin Selvan

Arya is the latest addition to Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan after the former heard the script and nodded right away to be included in the muti-starrer offering.Close sources report that his character demands a fresh new look and he looked really excited about the role. Arya will flex out his muscles alongside star actors Vijay who dons the role of Vandiya Thevan and Surya playing title role as Ponniyin Selvan (King Raja Raja Chola, one of the greatest Tamil Kings).Mani still needs to come out with the official announcements soon. The Director is hunting for a Bollywood face to add more appeal to the movie. Tinsel town is buzz with the news of Mani trying to bring both Ilayaraja and Rahman to board the same ship for this mega budget movie.

Meanwhile Arya has Avan Ivan waiting in the pipeline, and will commit himself to Vettai from March 16^th onwards. He will then move on to Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvam sets expected to kick off this October.

Now Arya riding a French horse that does look picture perfect, isn’t it folks?
