Araa Cinemas, a firm which has taken a significant place in Tamil film industry when it comes to choosing, releasing and distributing films of substance over the past few years, has taken up the release and distribution of an upcoming full-length comedy titled as Arasiyalla Idhellaam Saadharanampaa.
The shoot of Arasiyalla Idhellaam Saadharanampaa was wrapped up in Chennai a few days back. Rajathanthiram fame Veera and Cuckoo fame Malavika Nair play the lead roles in the film which is directed by debutant film-maker Avinash Hariharan who has also penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film whose script is said to be a comic, political satire.
Sudarshan is the film’s cinematographer while Praveen Antony is the editor. Madley Blues would be scoring the film’s music. Pasupathy, ‘Robo’ Shankar, Mottai Rajendran and many comedians are part of the film whose title has been apparently borrowed from a popular comic dialogue uttered by legendary comedian Goundamani in the Sarathkumar-starrer Sooriyan which released in the early nineties.
“A director’s first and foremost challenge is to wrap up the film’s shoot within the stipulated time while ensuring that he also doesn’t go beyond the fixed budget. For this, he needs help and cooperation of all artistes and technician. I’m grateful to Kaaviya Mahesh of Araa Cinemas for entrusting me with such a huge responsibility; I assure everyone that the film would be a huge comic riot,” Hariharan says.
