The sudden and unexpected decision by ace director A.R. Murugadoss to call a halt to the shooting schedule of his upcoming directorial venture Thuppakki starring Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead has reportedly upset the star’s fans. In recent days, the shooting schedule of many films has been badly affected by the on-going face-off between the producers and the FEFSI employees on the issue of wage hike.
Murugadoss’ film starring Vijay in the lead and produced by ‘Kalaipuli’ Thaanu had been progressing briskly in Mumbai for the past month or so. In this backdrop, the director’s decision to call a halt to the proceedings has sent shock waves among Vijay’s fans who had been waiting for a long time for their favourite actor to star in a film made by Murugadoss.
It’s now known whether Murugadoss’ decision to halt the film’s shooting is directly related to the on-going strike by FEISI and its affiliated bodies.
It’s also not known whether or not Murugadoss spoke to Vijay explaining to him about the circumstances which forced him to stop the film’s shooting. Meanwhile, FEFSI employees are reportedly rejoicing among themselves as the film starring the son of the Producers’ Council (S.A. Chandrasekaran) itself had been halted probably due to their strike.
