Actress Aishwarya Rai is said to be planning a comeback in films as early as possible. The actress gave birth to a baby girl last month in Mumbai. The delivery of Ash’s child was awaited with bated breath by her fans and well-wishers across the country and elsewhere. Though it was reported in the press earlier that a Caesarean section would be performed on the day ‘11-11-11’, it was not to be and the baby was born on 16th November.
Forty days after she gave birth to her yet-to-be-named daughter, Aishwarya is said to have started her daily work-outs in a phased manner so as to get back in shape. Aishwarya, who paired up opposite superstar Rajinikanth in Enthiran: The Robot in 2010 under Shankar’s direction, did a couple of more Hindi films after that. She then got pregnant and had to take a break from films.
Reports emanating from Mumbai say that the former beauty queen is all set to play the lead role in film-maker Sanjay Leela bhansali’s upcoming film which is expected to go on floors early next year. The film, which hasn’t yet been titled, is touted as a big budget movie and might star Salman Khan as the male lead opposite Aishwarya.
As the actress has obviously expressed her reservations in pairing up opposite her ex-boyfriend, it is said that Shah Rukh Khan might step in as the hero. Nothing has so far been finalized, adds the report. It may be noted that Ash had already done a couple of blockbuster movies in Bhansali’s direction in the form of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam opposite Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn and Devdas opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
